Abi Adeusi
Barrister and Solicitor

Abi Adeusi has nearly thirty years of legal experience. She began her legal career in the United Kingdom, where she obtained her law degree in 1993 at the University of Wolverhampton. She also obtained her post-graduate diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Bournemouth in 1999. She worked as a solicitor in England before relocating to Canada in 2008 and was called to the Bar by the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2010.
Abi has a boutique practice that specializes in family law, assisting clients with all matters related to divorce, separation, custody, access, child support, parenting plans, spousal support, equalization, marriage contracts, and separation agreements. As a trained collaborative lawyer, Abi works with parties who are focused on cooperative, settlement-focused resolutions dedicated to providing an efficient and tension-free solution.
Her law offices are located in Brooklin and Peterborough, Ontario. Abi's motto is, "if it matters to you, it matters to us."
Layo Adeusi
Barrister and Solicitor
Layo Adeusi is a dedicated legal professional with a passion for advocacy and community engagement. After graduating from Durham University Law School in the United Kingdom in 2020, Layo was called to the Bar in June 2023. Since then, Layo has been committed to providing thoughtful and effective legal services to clients.

Beyond the courtroom, Layo is an active member of the Peterborough Law Association and currently serves on the executive board as Second Vice President. Reflecting her commitment to supporting the local legal community and fostering professional development among peers.
Outside of work, Layo enjoys staying active. Whether it’s running, including completing a half marathon (soon to complete her second) or playing volleyball, these pursuits reflect Layo’s belief in balance, perseverance, and teamwork both in and out of the office.
